Analyze the audience A. Summary description of key audience characteristics The target audience will be my classmates, which means they still have one year left before they graduate. Then that issue would be of great importance to them since they will either continue studying or finding a job. With a high unemployment rate now here in Taiwan, maybe some of them are anxious about their future career. Our educational background is similar. And most of us come from blue-collar or white-collar families. B. Subject-specific data The average audience member's knowledge of the subject is that they know about this issue but not too much into it. They might hear teachers or parents describing the university students there in China. But the exact situation and differences are still vague. The average audience member's interest in this subject is not known yet. However, it won't make them bored when somebody tells them about this issue. Thought this issue might be sort of serious for them, their interest on this topic is not low because it relates to their existence. The average audience member's attitude toward my subject is likely to be "worthy of listening." It will benefit them if they know more about this topic. My initial credibility with the audience is likely to be mediate because I have already heard something about China students from my high school teacher (who once taught math in China) and my professor Posen. 4.
